The seat scored lies about 38 m from the main building. Computed from public elevation data (2026-10-14); ground only, buildings not counted, not reviewed by a feng shui master.
The place
The tomb of Sun Yat-sen, completed in 1929 on the southern slope of Purple Mountain, facing south, with 392 steps from the gateway to the hall. The ground reads its facing as south by east, close to how it was built.
Why this score
The whole tomb is built up a single rising slope: behind it the hillside simply keeps climbing, with no hill standing up out of the slope — which is what a grave reading looks for — so neither the back hill nor the flanking arms register. The front, though, is wide open and falls away gently: full marks there.
