The place
The tomb of the Yongle Emperor, begun in 1409, the first and largest of the thirteen Ming tombs, set against the main peak of Tianshou Mountain.
Why this score
A grave is read within about a kilometre; around Changling lies the gently sloping foot of the hills, with Tianshou's summit farther off, so no back hill or flanking arms stand out close by, and wind gets in. The famous embrace of the Ming Tombs valley is several kilometres wide, beyond what this reading takes in at once.
